Hydrawise is the software behind Hunter‘s range of weather based smart or wifi sprinkler system controllers. Hydrawise controllers use your wifi to receive data from nearby weather stations, not just B.O.M. weather stations like the cheaper alternatives. Based on the data received the controller will make adjustments to the watering schedule every single day.
Hydrawise will increase run times during warmer weather, and decrease run times during cooler weather. It also skips watering altogether if rain is forecast, saving our most precious resource which in turns saves you money by not running your system prior to rain. This can lead to huge savings on large sites such as sports fields.
Hydrawise is the complete smart irrigation controller available for both commercial and residential projects. With stacks of features it is the most precise smart controller that can be fine tuned using multiple weather stations to give the most accurate weather data.
It also has a built in multi meter and the ability to add a flow meter to ensure you are alerted in the event of an electrical fault, or high/low flow event. We will know immediately if you have a blocked or broken nozzle, leaking pipe or jammed solenoid valve.
On commercial or isolated sites where wifi may not be readily available, we can install a USB port inside the controller and then install a wifi dongle meaning the controller has its very own wifi connection. Coming soon is a wireless flow meter that can simply be retrofitted to existing systems without the need to run shielded cable.
