Can any controller be upgraded to a Hydrawise controller?

Any 240V plug in controller such as Toro, Richdell, Orbit, Rainbird, Weathermatic, and time based Hunter controllers can be upgraded. Battery controllers can’t be as yet.

My wifi isn’t very good. Can we still have a Hydrawise?

A strong signal is required for Hydrawise to work. If your signal is weak we recommend installing a mesh type system such as Google Nest. This will also improve wifi for your house.

If we don’t have wifi can we upgrade?

We can install an external USB port and a wifi dongle so it has it’s own reliable network. This is perfect on commercial sites. There is an ongoing data plan required with a SIM card.

Can I use my phone to run the system and make program changes?

There is an easy to use app for your phone so you can operate your system from anywhere in the world with a internet connection.

Are there commercial Hydrawise controllers available?

There is a Hydrawise controller available to suit all situations, from small residential courtyards to sports fields and large commercial sites. There are also controllers to suit Hunter decoder systems.

How long does it take to install?

Usually it’s less than an hour to install and set up for a residential property. Just have your wifi details ready for us.

I am hopeless with technology. Do you offer a service to make program changes for me?

We offer a monitoring service starting from $8 per month. We can make program changes, notify you if there’s a fault, and send reports on water usage.

Is there an ongoing cost involved?

No, but monitoring is available if you would rather Autoflow keep an eye on your system and make programming changes for you. If there is a fault we will know immediately so it can be rectified before plant stress occurs.
